Which one's your favourite?

Many of you will know that I have been Tawny Owl at our local Brownie pack for over 20 years and that Brown Owl is also the lady who makes our wonderful cakes in the coffee shop.  Sue has been a Brownie Guider for over 30 years and has reached the age where she must retire.  As we have been doing it together for such along time, I have decided to retire from Brownies as well.

Sue has also decided to 'retire' completely and as such will no longer be making those wonderful cakes and soups for us.  She has been cooking for us for 8 years and we will miss her and her cooking!  (My favourite just has to be the chocolate cake and the curried parsnip soup).  Time to put down her wooden spoon and put her feet up.

We are very lucky though that one of our customers is also a home cook!  Cathy will be doing the cooking for us from January and has already tempted our taste buds with the most divine chocolate brownies - none of us have yet managed more than one piece at a sitting!!

So join us in the new year for a new menu - including Cathy's homemade bread!

Welcome to our blog!

At last finally worked out how to set up this blog! you wouldn't think it would be that difficult, but then again most of you probably don't!? Give me a paint brush, paints and craft stuff instead of a computer any day!!

Anyway, I will stop moaning now and start our very first post!!

Today Lousette came in to set up for her class this morning (Jingle Bellas) and said "love the new website!"  PANIC!! didn't know it had gone live today, we thought it still needed registering with the host (or something like that, we know alot about IT here - can't you tell?) We hope you enjoy the website anyway, and apologise for any parts that are not quite finished or haven't had all the products put on yet! Being a perfectionist this has greatly disturbed me and so I will be finishing it (hopefully!) in the next few days, so keep checking back to see the add ons!

Lousette's class was brilliant (as always!) and she made this amazing box card that folds flat to go into an ordinary envelope!. It was made using one of our favourite Stamping Bella stamps 'Snowbunnybella'.

Lousettecard4 We do not sell Stamping Bella online, but if you would like to purchase them, they are available in store or you can give us a ring for stock availability and we can post them out to you!

Don't know why this picture didn't come out bigger. I also havn't worked out how to put the links down the side to our favourite blogs and websites yet so have got hours of fun yet I suspect!!  You can hope I improve with time!?
